The folks over at NextDC have been kind enough to extend the invitation to all those attending Startup Weekend DC to come and join in the fun at their next Happy Hour. The happy hour will be taking place on Thurs Oct 25 @ 6:00pm NextDC will be hosting it’s happy hour / startup weekend pre-party at the Science Club .
The mission of NextDC is to create a community individuals who are interested web, new media, and entrepreneurship for the purpose of sharing ideas, knowledge, and experience. The vision is to bring the silicon valley experience to DC but with the spirit of DC.

There is your start-up idea — create some sort of magical communication tool to avoid over saturation of the same — another New Media community in DC?
I love Happy Hours and I love things that bring us together — but keeping up with it all is becoming stressful and time consuming. While I am meeting new and interesting people my liver and my calendar are hurting.
