In a city known for political buzz, StartupWeekend DC has become part of the new tech buzz. Geoff Livingston wrote a great blog post about the hot new tech scene in DC. It is our honor to be considered part of the DC tech landscape along with bloggers such as Geoff, Jared Goralnick, and our hosts, Viget Labs.
DC, with AOL and other technology companies has long rivaled the rest of the country in terms of talent and technology. If the people at StartupWeekend are indicators of this reality, then DC has earned the respect they deserve.
